Standards for the Protection of Minors
Alter Hotel & SPA implements a child protection policy containing standards for the protection of minors adapted to the nature of the facility, specifying in particular:
a) rules ensuring safe relationships between the minor and the hotel staff,
and especially behaviors prohibited towards minors;
b) rules and procedures for identifying a minor staying at the hotel and their relationship to the adult they are staying with at the hotel;
c) rules and procedures for taking intervention in case of suspected abuse or possession of information about abuse of a minor;
d) procedures and persons responsible for filing reports of suspected crimes against a minor;
e) rules for reviewing and updating the standards;
f) the scope of competencies of the person responsible for preparing the facility's staff or organizer to apply the standards, rules for preparing this staff to apply them, and how to document this activity;
g) rules and ways of making the standards available to parents or legal guardians or de facto guardians and minors for familiarization and application;
h) persons responsible for receiving reports of incidents threatening the minor and providing support to them;
i) methods of documenting and rules for storing disclosed or reported incidents or events threatening the well-being of the minor.
Upon the request of parents/legal guardians and minors, the standards for the protection of minors are made available in paper form at the reception of Alter Hotel & SPA.
In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Minors, guests checking in with a minor at the hotel will be asked by the reception to present the minor's identity document or other documents confirming the relationship with the adult.
